My motives

Personal transformation and with a positive view of one’s own development to constantly evolve are drivers of my self for a long time. At an early age, I was introduced to philosophical questions and Buddhist beliefs by my parents, which still strongly accompany me. I believe that the good for the self goes hand in hand with the good for each other and the common good in society at large. And I believe that therein lies the key to our next stage of evolution – in a holistic developing of the spiritual, cognitive & rational, loving & feeling, physical, mental, and sensual potential of each of us. That sounds complex. And complexity has always appealed to me.

The best way to see this is to look at the questions I am (was) dealing with (in roughly chronological order):

  1. What is the potential of people?

  2. What do children need in order to develop their potential?

  3. How can a person’s potential be used in a beneficial way and for the good of the entire society?

  4. What is good leadership: What role do organizations play in society and how can this be managed?

  5. How to create the best possible developmental conditions for children?

  6. How can adults develop their own holistic potential?

I dealt with the first two questions during my bachelor’s degree in psychology and my part-time work at the „Kinderbauernhof Burgenland“, an intensive educational residential home for developmentally traumatized children. Parallel to this, I have always been interested in the leadership of people, so I came into contact with books by Malik and Drucker early on. I deepened all this in my master’s degree in psychology and then ultimately in my doctorate at the University of St.Gallen (Switzerland), so that I got answers to questions 3 and 4. Then I got the chance to influence the developmental conditions of children in daycare centers as a division manager at the Felsenweg Institut in Dresden, so I focused more on that. Kairos Coaching is a result of this path. Hereby I want to develop the potential of the adults, in order to promote the potential of the children and the society.
